I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis five years ago before I was forty. My husband and I moved to Middletown three years ago and we didn't know anyone. For me I was in pain and trapped at home on disability. Then through a mutual friend I found Amie or as we like to say we found each other. My disease causes painful muscle spasms in the neck and back, numbness in the legs, especially the feet and severe lower back pain and overall weakness. I was certainly a challenge and Amie took me on happily. She not only physically helps me, but she always makes me feel hopeful. If I develop a symptom she is not quite sure of she looks it up and by the next session I have with her she finds a way to help relieve it. She is a wonderful, caring massage therapist and if she can take on an MS patient she can pretty much handle everything. I continue to have regular appointments with Amie and I plan on having them for the rest of my life. ~Amanda Lustig, Middletown, CT
